Nothing quite like dinner and a movie, if you ask us. Delhi upped the ante with Sangam Courtyard and we’ve rounded up what you’re in for.
PVR Cinemas
PVR Sangam has graduated from its former single screen status to multiple screens, Book Movie Tickets OnlIne, showing some of Bollywood’s finest. Expect revamped seating, spacious halls and plenty of food options to munch on while you disappear into other worlds of color, laughter, and dancing. Might we suggest it for date night?
Cafe Delhi Heights
The Fatty Bao
Reserve this Bangalore import for them special occasions and any fancy dinner parties you’re lining up, since the prices, décor and quality of food all warrant it. Filled with Asian delights from baos to ramen and seafood galore that you must enjoy with a side of sake {or any of their superb cocktails}, Fatty Bao perfectly marries great food, quality and a warm quirky ambience.
Starbucks
Lunch meetings, study sessions and quick bites with old pals – Starbucks fits the bill. They have plenty of caffeine to offer {we know you need it} along with sweeter beverages for when you need to tone down the intensity. The eats? Simple coffee shop fare- sandwiches and patisserie items.
Ziu
We think this is one of the best Thai places in the city especially if you’re looking to go beyond the usual Thai curries. Choose from their range of fare including the Norwegian Atlantic Salmon, Slow Cooked Lamb in Massaman Curry and the Coconut Creme Brulee
Café DIVA
One of Ritu Dalmia’s many Delhi establishments, you can find Italian eats in abundance here. Smaller meals, great for sharing over long conversations with just the right flavors. We recommend you try their Quinoa and Apricot salad, or perhaps one of their pizzas {with a choice of base} and you won’t be disappointed. Plus points for their service.
Delhi Club House
Now this one’s remained a mystery so far, although we’ve heard many a promising thing. Here’s what we know- you can expect exposed red brick walls, clean wooden lines and large windows to let the light in. They’re open for lunch, and bring to your plates all the club classics, albeit with a twist. Whether it’s Chilli Chicken topped with spring onions {ala Delhi Gymkhana style} or air-fried gol gappas that taste just as good as anything you’d get on a street, the menu has us intrigued. Their dinner menu will be different {with cocktails to go} and we can hardly wait to see what we’re in for. Old-world elegance at its best.
