Roll Your Own Sushi | A Sangam & Ziu Event

Fun and adventure were on the menu at Ziu, Sangam Courtyard, at our Roll Your Own Sushi Event on 28th– 29th March. The event was a celebration of the ancient art of Sushi-making where aficionados learned how to roll their own perfect rolls from expert chefs, got their hands dirty and came together for a night of gourmet festivities!

The stars of the event were definitely our happy, excited budding sushi chefs who got a master class in preparing lip-smacking sushi classics on the three-course menu offered by Ziu. The evening started with Somtam, crispy fried green papaya with long yard green beans, cherry tomatoes in chili lime dressing, and Khao Tang Gai Yang, roasted chicken or tofu, nutmeg, curry paste, and coriander served on rice crackers, to whet the appetite of the group and feed some hungry stomachs before moving on to the main course – rolling your own sushi! The culinary DIY experience was topped off with generous rewards of homemade coconut ice cream with jaggery for our delighted, satisfied adventurers.

Food should never be a boring experience! And there is something really special about preparing exotic dishes like a professional, surrounded by the whirlwind energy of passionate talented chefs, magical ambience, flowing drinks and wonderful company of friends and other inspired souls. Roll Your Own Sushi was an evening of fishy fun with new friends that we will remember for a long time. So stay tuned as we curate more such new moments and memories for you at Sangam Courtyard.
