Hellboy

For all the fans of the Hellboy franchise, director Neil Marshall delivers the third live-action installment of the iconic gore-filled film series featuring humanity’s hero from hell. The epic super anti-hero movie is a reboot of the famed series and features a new actor, David Harbour, in the role of Hellboy. Hellboy (Harbour) teams up with allies of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) in an effort to prevent the ancient witch Nimue (Milla Jovovich), the Blood Queen, from wiping out all of mankind. The movie operates as an origin story for Hellboy, offering insight into where he came from and why his adoptive father, Trevor Bruttenholm (Ian McShane), chose to raise him as a son. While also sharing origin stories of Hellboy’s friends, the movie features the death of one of the series’ most lovable characters. For fans of the genre, Hellboy promises to be the movie of the season.
