Anardana – A Culinary Gem. Read the review

Welcome to Anardana at Sangam Courtyard, a treat for both eyes and palette. Anardana, an integral “ingredient” in Indian Cuisine, delivers on the promise of its informal with an authentic, yet elegantly modern take on Indian cuisine. A recipient of many accolades from its patrons since it opened, its outlet at Sangam Courtyard is the jewel in its crown.

Anardana’s food reflects a community-eating spirit. Our story is deeply rooted in traditions and culinary legacies, but their language is contemporary. In the few years of our existence, they have created a community of customers that love our food. Their customers always say to us that even after savoring cuisine from the best restaurants, they continue coming back to Anardana as it transports them to either their favorite food street across India or to one of their nostalgic meal experiences from their teens.

We visited for a late lunch in midweek and it was absolutely packed. We began with Indian Chaats, Quinoa Golgappe and Jodhpuri Raj Kachori which surely were appetizing and tantalized our taste buds with an outburst of flavors and deliciousness. Using Quinoa and watermelon filling in Golgappe along with spiced chili guava oxide & date chutney was not just innovative, but also a pleasant surprise for the palette to the regular street-styled golgappas. The Jodhpuri Raj Kachori was a piece of art and the colorful makeover tasted an exuberant level.

The next course of appetizers began with an Interesting Ombre Cocktail called Moonlight Sour that was influenced by the shades of the evening sunset. It was magical and the taste was spot on. Paired with a Yam & Mushroom Ki Galouti served on ulta paratha mini they were mouth-melting and served with truffle cream and micro greens on a colorful artistic plate with dollops of dips.

Anardana can be found at the far end of our atrium as you enter Sangam Courtyard. Join us for a culinary journey at Anadarana, it will certainly be worth it.
